Plumber To Gas Course
If you are a person that can install a Gas Boiler and pipe it up, then you could carry out this course.
Every person is at a different level so each one is assessed separately, but the course usually starts with Five Days Initial Training, where we can assess your current knowledge and experience. We then work out a training plan to suit you as an individual. The Plumber to Gas Course is part of a Managed Learning Programme which is accredited by Blue Flame Certification. The national Industry requirement for all MLP's is in accordance with IGE/IG/1 and states that all candidates must carry out a minimum of 280 guided learning hours.

Pathway to Gas (PG1 Course)
Managed Learning Programme in accordance with
IGEM/IG/1
If you are a person who wants to become a Gas Engineer then this is the course for you!
- Three weeks initial Training followed by your Individual Training Plan which will be agreed with us, and will include a minimum of 280 learning hours. - this course meets the requirements of the Standards of Training in Gas Work IGEM/IG/1.
In between hours spent in Centre, you will carry out an on-the-job Training Programme designed by us, and discussed with your Gas Safe Registered Engineer. This must be spread over a minimum six month period, However, we would advise you take longer on this. We can decide, subject to discussion with your mentor, when you are ready to proceed.
- On completion of your on-the-job training, you will then attend one weeks refresher training followed by your four days ACS Assessments
The in-Centre training days are a guide and some people may need further days training, at ECS we will provide these at NO EXTRA CHARGE
